1 to 3 year old kids popularly known as toddlers are highly emotional and love to socialize with kids of similar age in addition to the other age groups. Toddlers develop the below mentioned Social & Emotional skills:-
- Imitates activities of adults and older children (24–36 months)
- Engages in pretend to play with other people (eg. Tea party, birthday party) (18–30 months)
- Shows interest in other children.
- Plays simple pretend, such as feeding a baby.

- Enjoys routines and may get upset with a major change.
- Dresses and undresses self.
- Enjoys helping with simple household tasks.
- Verbalizes toilet needs and maybe toilet trained during the day.
